Mature content and AdSense

Last week a publisher asked me regarding adult content.
Her content of the blog related to health. She has used some adult terms. Since her blog is health related, she cannot avoid the terms. She is apprehensive whether she is violating the AdSense TOS. As per the AdSense Programme Policies Sites displaying Google ads may not include Pornography, adult or mature content. She want to know what is exactly considered as mature content or Pornographic content. What is definition of adult or adult related content. In AdSense Blog it has been discussed very clearly. Publishers should not display AdSense ads in a content which has material that is not appropriate for all the visitors. If the content is informative and educational then you are not against the TOS. However it is good idea seeking permission from Google before displaying AdSense ads. You can test whether the content is mature or not as per AdSense TOS through a simple way. Suppose you are viewing a site with your children and family members. If you are feeling comfort to view the site, then it is OK. You are allowed to display AdSense ads in the content.
